Laser therapy may soothe neck pain
Patients suffering from the common (and costly) condition of neck pain may find relief from a noninvasive, painless treatment that can be administered in primary-care settings: low-level laser therapy (LLLT).
24% of the population suffers from chronic neck pain. This article from the Clinical Advisor shares how laser therapy may provide the relief that they need: |

Natural News shares a dissapointing article titled: "Big Pharma researcher admits to faking dozens of research studies for Pfizer, Merck".
Chiropractic care is effective and a good value as shown in this report by Niteesh Choudry, MD, PhD of Harvard University and Arnold Milstein, MD, MPH. They indicate that chiropractic care is more effective than other modalities for treating low back and neck pain. |

Laser Therapy and Activator Technique
are a Winning Combination
Chris Carraway, a North Carolina chiropractic neurologist, shared this interesting case.
A 42 year old white female suffered a seizure in October 2009. She was rushed to the local ER. A severe headache accompanied her seizure.
MR, CT, EEG were done. No clear cause of her illness was diagnosed. Her seizures were never give a label, ie; grand mal seizure etc. She continued to suffer seizures and disabling headaches without resolve. She lost her job and her driver's license was revoked.
She came to my office for evaluation and treatment on 1/13/10 in obvious distress. Her headache pain was a 10 on a 0 to 10 VAS scale. Radiographs showed reversal of the normal cervical curve and multiple subluxations. She had a mild seizure while she was in the examination table. The neurological examination was unremarkable.
The Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique protocol and LLLT were applied to the cervical musculature in two courses.
Scanning with the TerraQuant LaserStim and the trigger points were addressed with the acupuncture-muscle trigger probes.
She responded well to her first treatment. After a course of four daily treatments following the same protocols, her headaches and seizures were resolved. She has remained headache and seizure free for three weeks.
Measures are being taken for her to return to work and have her driver license reinstated after a clear 24 hour EEG testing.
The response to AMCT and LLLT far exceeded my expectations in her case. AMCT and LLLT are a winning combination.
