Page 497: "Another common, yet
incorrect, claim by Class IV laser marketers is
that increasing the output power to many Watts
will increase the penetration depth of the laser
radiation - almost regardless of wavelength (which
we know is simply not true!) - and overcome all
the supposedly 'negative' things about Class 3B
lasers. Let's now look at why such claims
are tremendously exaggerated, at best, and, in
some cases, simply not true. Some of the
culprits: K-Laser, LiteCure, Pegasus (vet),
Companion (vet), Avicenna."
Page 498: "The worst offender in this
'misleading and exaggerated marketing claims by
Class IV laser marketeers' bunch is K-Laser
USA. The claims that they make about the
so-called inadequacies of Class 3B laser devices
are very clever, and deliberately
misleading." The book goes on to cite
several examples.
