Laser Success Shared by a
North Carolina Clinician
Spinal
Pain A 70 year old white
male with chronic severe spinal pain ranging from
his sacrum to his cervical spine. He had had
two lumbar surgeries: the first 15 years ago for
spinal stenosis, and the second for right sciatica
18 months ago. He had back pain was unable to
sleep more than 30 minutes before his back pain
and spasms would wake him up. He was exhausted and
suffering from depression. I treated
him with Activator Methods protocol and the Multi
Radiance Medical MR4 LaserStim. I would start at
the base of his skull on the right and using the
TARGET and DOSE features slowly descend alone the
paraspinals to the sacrum set for a scanning Hz5
of 1000 cycles in order to work through a wide
range of depth of tissue. I
paused at each area the TARGET indicated needed
additional laser therapy. After treating the
right side, I repeated the same protocol on the
left. In just a few visits he was improving
and I was not getting any feedback from the
LaserStim on his cervical and dorsal
spine.
Presently,
he is sleeping through the night for seven hours
straight, taking no pain meds or sleeping aid
medication. He is asking about exercise and
his depression has been
broken. He is a laser fan
if there has ever been one.
An 83 year old
gentleman, a widower, was suffering from LBP but
had a 9 day bus trip with a church group planned.
We were working furiously to resolve his LBP
before his trip. His responded well to adjustments
and laser therapy. He returned from his trip to
indicate that he didn't have one minute of back
pain.
Upper
Extremities
I went kayaking
this weekend for a quick 6 mile sprint. When I got
back I was sore so I settled back in a chair with
my TQ Solo and started working on my shoulders
elbow etc. and felt immediate relief. The only
thing that is sore on me is one finger on my right
hand. I am going to adjust that this
morning. The more I use laser therapy, the
more amazed I am at how well it
works.

Carraway, DC, DIBCN
